Kothamangalam walking pilgrimage starts from St.Mary's church Poothamkutty

Recently one of the important spiritual developments of Angamaly region is kothamangalam walking pilgrimage and it started from this church on October 2nd in 1999 and candle lighted from the cross it is built infront of the church in the name of His Holiness Eldho Mar Beselious. After this some more pilgrimage started from kidangoor church with the co-operation from the pilgrims of Mookkannor, Thavalappara, Pullani, Thuravoor ,Thottakam and Mattor church. Another from Azhakom, Peechanikkadu and Poikkattussery. Now this is the one of the important pilgrimages in Angamly region. In 2009 on wards it started on October 1st, from St.Mary's church Vellikkulangara in Trissur Diocese and reaches by 6.30pm at this church and stay here. In the next morning ie., 2nd October it continues from our church after the holy mass and will reach at Kothamangalam at 6pm.
