POOTHAMKUTTY: Under the auspices of St.Mary's Youth Association, Poothamkutty youth empowerment programme was held at the Church premises on Sunday, the 29th January, 2012 after the Holy Qurbana. Mr.Delvin, the Secretary of the Youth association welcomed the gathering. Vicar Rev.Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal made the key-note address. Mr.T.M.Yakob, Poly, Joly, Eldhose P.P, and Basil actively partaken in the business session. The youth Group headed by the Vicar Rev.Fr. Alias Ipe Parackal visited houses of the members and conducted prayer meeting at the residence of Mr. Mathai Munnoorppilly in the evening. Hereafter, fifth Sunday will be observed as 'Youth Sunday' and the members unanimously resolved to pay visit to the residences of the parish members who are residing far away from the church area. New office-bearers for the year 2012 were elected in the meeting. Meeting ended with prayer.
